ENGLISH GRAMMAR.
Fourth - An Adjective is a word which one expresses some quality or other accident belonging to the Substantive. நான்காவது. - பண்புச் சொல்லானது பெயர்ச் சொல்லினுடைய சிலகுணத்தை அல்லது மற்ற லட் சணத்தை விசிதப்படுத்துகிற ஒரு சொல்லாயிருக்கிறது
Fifth-1 Verb is that - which expresses action, Being or Suffering.
ஐந்தாவது. - வினைச்சொல் என்பது செய்கையை யிருக்கையை படுக்கையை விசிதப் படுத்துகிறது தான்
Sixth.-An Adverb is joined to verbs, and also to adjectives and other adverbs to express some circumstances belonging to them.
ஆறாவது.- வினையுரியானது வினைகளோடும் பண்புச்சொற்களோடும் வினையுரிகளோடும் அவைகளுக்கடுத்த சங்கதிகளை விசிதப்படுத்துகிறதற்காகக் கூட்டப்பட்டிருக்கிறது
Seventh. - A Preposition, which is put before nouns and pronouns chiefly to connect them with other words, and to shew their relations to those words.
ஏழாவது.- முன்னிலை, என்பது, பெயர்ச்சொல் முன்னேயுஞ் சுட்டுச்சொல் முன்னெயும் வைக்கப்பட்டுப்பிரதானமாயவைகளை மற்றவார்த்தைகளோடே யிணைக்கிறதற்கும் அந்த வார்த்தைகளோடே இவைகளுக்கிருக்கிற சம்பந்தத்தைக்காண்பிக்கிறதற்குமாக இருக்கிறது
Eighth. - A Conjunction, which joins words and sentences together,
எட்டாவது.- கூட்டிணை, வார்த்தைகளையும், வசனங்களையும், ஒன்றாக இணைக்கிறது
Ninth.- An Interjection is used to express some sudden Emotion of the mind.
ஒன்பதாவது.- வியப்புச்சொல் மனிதன்சில அசுப்பான கொந்தளிப்பை விசிதப்படுத்துகிறதற்கு வழங்குகிறது
