Another disciple of St. Umaapathi was maccucceTTiyaar, author of njaanapuucaith thiruviruththam. This master initiated Kangkai meykaNTaar, whose disciple was ciikaazhi cittampala nhaa rikalh. I le contributed thukalha tupootham, civappiraKaacaKkaruththuraiccuuththiram and thiruccenthuuraKaval. His student was Thaththuvappirakaa.car, the author of thaththuvappirakaacam. Another disciple of cittampala nhaaTikalh was pazhuthaiкатiti nјаanappirakaacar, whose student was Kamalai nјаanappirakaa.car, the author of civaananthapootham, piracaathakkarralhai, aththuvaakkaTTaihai, civapuucai akaval etc., His first iniate was kurunjaana campanhthar, who founded the tharumapuram aathiinam, The religious pontiffs of two aathiinams, Viz. thiruvaavaruthurai and tharumapuram, continued spreading the saiva Siddhanta knowledge through instruction and their small works on this system. 427
