INTRODUCTION
In this glossary of terms in Book-keeping the requirements of the G.C.E. Standard has been attained. Some subsidiary terms, appearing below the main term, have been printed with a colon in front of them. In the Tamil equivalents, the main form should be presumed to be taken with the translated secondary term.
The Madras glossary also has been consulted.
Grantha characters have been omitted when Sanskrit terms were taken in. These glossary terms have been approved by the Advisory Council.
