You are a great educationist, having been responsible for the moulding of the destiny of so many young boys and girls who today occupy positions of high responsibility in all walks of life. Your interests are very wide including religion, history etc. Again, you have greatly enriched the Tamil literature with youre poems, essays, fiction, travelogue etc. May God bless you with long life and with still more power to your pen in the service of the country and Tamill Just as a matter of hobby I collect the original handwritings of great poets and writers. I would therefore request you to favour me with any two of your Tamil poems, written in your own hand, preferably on your letter head, and autographed and dated at the end. These poems may be new ones or the old ones. published or unpublished, which ever you may like to write down. My only wish is to have something written in your hand.
