21 vision of the Lord. He followed the child into the temple. By this time the news had spread all over the town and a crowd gathered and accompanied the child-saint to the temple. The child continued to sing the praise of the Lord. When the child came out, father took him on his shoulders and carried him home. From then on began a ceaseless spiritual campaign of Thirugnana Sambandar. He also came to be known and called “Aludaiya Pillai’ (JASDF sol–u Losit&sm) the son who had been saved. Accompanied by his father, Sambandar visited the sacred shrines of Lord Siva in Tamil Nadu singing devotional songs. Miracles happened wherever he went. Thiru Neelakanta Yazhppanar (305.5 ová, sort- usruptilurrorst) came with his wife and offered instrumental accompaniment to the melodious voice of Sambandar. Panar was a master in playing the lute (Yazh-ump) and his wife had a melodious voice. Sambandar treated them very kindly and they enhanced the effect of his inspired songs. The chorus thrilled the hearts of devotees. During the long pilgrimage the child would either walk or be carried on his fathci's shoulders. Sambandar thanked
