Even if I should see, think or read, Even if I should discern with earnestness, Even if I should drag, catch and embrace For all thee, O Sugar cane which is delightful to the taste! (The body) perspires not; The soul bewilders not; O ripe sweet mellow Fruit! ... O Ambrosial Grace which expounds (the three attributes of the Lord viz.,) existence, Knowledge and bliss! O Holy One! so the devotees worship Thee, O Pre-eminent One of Divine Dance at the Public Hall! Please entertain my utternances trivial, and bestow grace.
