கண்ணதாய பழங்காலத்தில் வளர்ச்சிவேகம், வானூர்தி கம்பியில்லாத் தந்திகளின் காலமாம், இன்றைய வளர்ச்சி வேகத்தினும் மிகமிகக் குறைவு என்பதை நினைவில் கொள்ளுதல் வேண்டும். இன்றைய வாழ்க்கையின், மூச்சு விடுவதற்கும் இடைவெளியில்லா விரை வான மாற்றமும், வழுக்கும் பனிப்பாறைகளின் ஆறுபோலப் பலனாலும் உணர்ந்து கொள்ள இயலாப் படை நாட்களின் மெதுவான சிந்தனை செயல்பாடுகளும் இருகோடித் துருவங்கள் போலும் வேறுபாடு உடைய, ஆகவே சி.மு. 2000ன் எது உண்மை நிகழ்ச்சியோ, அதவே, அதனினும் நனிமிகப் முற்பட்ட பழங்காலத்திலும் உண்மை நிகழ்ச்சியாகும்.
