This poem is an open plea to God for not forsaking him and is throughout an open plea and genuine human cry for divine help in the midst of terrible struggles of the world. The saint prays to God-Civan - in utter detestation of the world that when He voluntarily enslaved him he could not realize the greatness of His grace as he was caught hold of by his wicked senses and left Him. When He departed with His heavenly devotees leaving the saint here, he deplores that God has left him in the lurch. So he pleads not to forsake him as the title of this poem, also called decad, indicates. 13 289
