Oh Lord, lovingly show us Your holy alsklet-decked twin Feet. Oh Lord Civan who abides in Thirupperunthurai! Oh Lord hardly known by all but easy for us! Oh our Lord ' Graciously arise!” (20:3) “Those producing sweet music on Veenai and harp stand on one side; those who chant Rig-Veda and hymns on one side: those whose hands bear closely entwined wreaths of flower on one side; those who worship, weep and faint in ecstasy on one side and those who, adoring You, folded their palms over their heads, on one side. Oh Lord Civan Who abides in Thirupperunthurai! Oh our Lord Who made even me Your own, bestowing sweet grace; Graciously arise I’’ (20:4) “Apart from learned sages saying that You exist in each and every element, apart from their saying that You have neither going nor coming and apart from their singing songs and dancing, we have neither learnt nor heard of anyone who has seen and known You. Oh King Who abides in Thirupperumthurai of cool fields, You are beyond conception even by the mind. Oh our Lord Who, coming before us and cutting off our faults, makes us Your own bestowing grace on us. Graciously arise!” (20:5)
