Decad: 48 Pandaaya Naanmarai The Ancient Four Marai (Vedaas) Sub-title: Anubavaththukku Ayyaminmai Vuraiththal (Declaring the indubitability of the experience) (Sung at Thirupperunthurai) Pandaaya = being ancient; naan=four; marai-mystic word (Vedaas); anubavaththukku = for experience: Ayyam=doubt; inmai=that which is not; vuraiththal = expressing. This decad of Ancient four Vedaas is made up of seven verses in Nerisai Vennbaa metre and its title takes its name from the opening words of the first stanza. B19
