8O நீதிநெறிவிளக்கம் தென்புலத்தார் கோவினை வேலைகொளல் : தென்புலத்தார் படைப்புக்காலத்து அயனற் படைக்கப்பட்டதோர் கடவுட்சாதி , அவர்க்கிடம் தென்றிசையாதலின் கென்புலத்தாரென்ருர்.” -வி. கேர். சூ. தென்புலத்தாாைப் பிதிரர்கள் என்று கூறுவது வடநான்மரபு. :: தென்புலத்தார் - இறந்த உயிர்கள் ; இவைகள் தெற்கிடக்கில் இருக்கின் றன என்னும் வழக்குப்பற்றித் தென்புலத்தார் என்ருர்: -இள. வேலைகொளல் கம்மாற் செய்யப்பட்ட பாவங்காணமாகக் கென் புல மழைத்தல், பாவங்களை யாராய்தல், விசாரணை செய்தல், பலவித காகில் விட்டுப் பலவித கண்டஞ் செய்தல் முதலிய அத் துணை வேலைகளை யெல் லாம் அவனைக் கொண்டு தமக்குச் செய்வித்தல்.” -அ. கு. Those who sell to others the advantages of the mysteries which they have learned, reserve an advantage of another description to themselves; the receiving the labours of the king of the dead, with the hardihood that defies the terrors of an evil life. —H. S. Those who impart spiritual instruction to others for gold, thus rendering their knowledge useful to them, derive a further advantage, namely, the strength of mind to slight the pain anticipated and make the regent of the dead a servant (to carry off their own lives). I —C. M. Those who sell learning to benefit others reserve an advantage of another kind to themselves—the worrying of the king of the dead with a hardihood that defies the terrors of doing evil. —T.
