கட்சு. பெரியாரைப் பிழையாமை 133 புணர்முலைப் போகங் கொளல் _ என்புழி ' வளமெலாம் போக வால்” எனச் சர்வகலாசாலையாரிற் சிலர் பாடமோதாகின்ரர். அஃது இளையாள் முயக்கு எனக் கூறியதற்கேற்ப மூத்தாள் போகம் எனக் கட்றுதலே எவ்வாற்ருனுஞ் சிறப்புடைத்தாகவும், பொருட் பொலி வுடைத்தாகவும் அதனை அறியகில்லாதும் அதனைத் தக்கவாறு மாற்ற கில்லர்த்ம், தமக்குத் தோன்றியவாறு அவ்வயிற் பொருனலமழிய மாற்றிய தாய் முடியுமா உணர்க.” -வி கோ. சூ.
- தொலையாத போகங் கொளல் ” என்று பாடங் கொண்டு ' தொலை யாத " என்னும் இச்சொல் இதற்கு முன்வெளிப்பட்ட நூல்களிலெல்லாங் காணப்படா கிருந்தது. கிருவருளால் இஃதோர் எட்டுப்படியிற் கண் டெடுக்கப்பட்டது," என்றும் அடிக்குறிப்புக் கொடுத்துள்ளார் இளவழக
ர்ை. தொலையாத என்பதற்கு ஒழியா என்றும் அவர் பொருளுாைத்துள் ளார். இது பிறிது மொழித லென்னும் அலங்காாம். -கோ. இ. இது விரோத அணியுள் அடங்கும். -தி. சு. செ. While those who ought to be honoured are waiting at the gate, there are some who from the pride of wealth do not go to meet and receive them as their guests; although now the latter embrace the goddess of fortune, they are not far from the enjoyment of the charms of the close bosom of her elder sister, the goddess of ill-luck. —S.
