' -அ. து . :: உயிர்கள் திவினை மிகுதியும், நல்வினை சிறிதும் செய்வனவாதலின் * அறனல்ல எண்மைய வாயினும் என்ருர் ’ -கோ. இ. அரிதெனினும் ஒண்மையிற்றீர்ந் தொழுகலார் : ஒண்மை - நன்மை. அழகு நன்று மறிவு மொண்மை என்பது பிங்கலம். ’’ - அ. கு. ஒண்மை என்னுங் காரியப் பெயர் உயிரை விளங்கச் செய்வதாகிய அறமென்னுங் காரணத்தின் மேல் கின்றது. ” --- -கோ. இ.
