306 நீதிநெறிவிளக்கம் தென்பெழு மியாக்கையன் துன்புறத் தளங்காது வரையுங் கானு மெய்திச் சருகொடு கானி எருந்திக் கடும்பனிக் காலத்து மாரீ ரழுவத் தழுங்கி வேனிலில் ஐவகை யழலின் மெய்வருந்த வருந்தி இவ்வகை யொழுகு மியல்பிற் றன்றே ’ என்று நம் ஆசிரியர் சிதம்பரமும்மணிக்கோவையிற் பாங்குற யாத் திருப்பது கொண்டு உனாப்படும். துர்த்தருத் துர்ப்பார் அலர் :
- துர்த்தரும்-காம நுகர்ச்சியில் மீதார்ந்தவர்களும்.”-உ. வே. சா.
" தார்த்தரும் - இழிவு சிறப்பு. ” -கோ. இ.
- துர்ப்பார் அலர் என்பதிற்கு அவாைப் பழித்துரைப்பாால்லது மறையா .ொன வழுஉப்பொருள் கூறுவது அலர் பழிமொழிப் பொருள் தருமாறு அறியாமையா னென்க. ' -சி. வை. தா.
அலர் - புகழ் போலன்றித் தான் சிறிதாயினும் எங்கும் விரைவில் பாவுதலால் பழிமொழிக்கு அலர் தொழிலாகு பெயராயிற்று. ' -கோ. இ. Whatever be the conduct of those, who profess to have renounced the world, if they be only chaste, even their enemies will raise to them their hands in adoration. If, however distinguished in other respects, they guard not this virtue, even the profligate will not pass them over uncensured. —H. S. Howsoever those who pretend to have renounced the world may act, should they be only pure, even their foes will adore them with up-lifted hands. Should they fail to cherish this virtue, howsoever conspicuous they may otherwise be, even sensualists will venture to reproach them. —C. M. IEven the enemies, of ascetics who are free from sexual desire, will turn towards them, with feeling of respect and worship whatever their conduct may otherwise be, but if they do not guard against that desire, evem the profligate will blame them far and wide, however high they may be in other respects. --T.
