- பசு-பசு, யாகத்துக்குரிய உயிர்களுக்குப் பொதுப்பெயர்.”
--கோ. இ. ' தீயோம்பி-முத்தித் தொழிலை நடத்தி. முத்தி - ஆகவனியம், தட்சினக்கினியம், காருகபத்தியம்.” --தி. சு. செ. ' வான்வழக்கம் காண்பாாை - துறக்கம் அடைவாசை.” --சி. மு. - ' வான் - சுவர்க்கத்துக்கு, வழக்கம் - செல்லுதலை, காண்பாாை - செய்வாாை, என உாைப்பினும் அமையும்.' --கோ. இ. ஊனுேம்பி யூன்றின்பவர் : ஊனுண்டலின் இழிவைப் புலப்படுத்த ஊன் கின்பவரென்ருர், சாவ முன்னட் டக்கன் வேள்வித் தகர்கின்று (திருவாசகம் : திருச் சதகம் - ச) என்பதுபோல.” --உ. வே. சா. The conduct of the exhalted is not; to be reprehended like that of others, although it may not appear praiseworthy. Are those who cherish their body with flesh to be compared with those who sacrifice (a cow) to appease the sacred flame, and thereby explore into the ways of Providence 2 —C. M.
