I have perused with an ever increasing pleasure the able work designated “Madooray Kovei” the author of which is no other than the celebrated Guiann Kathur Navalar of Nagore. To speak at length on the intrinsic worth of the excellent work will be as ridiculous an excess as,

“To gild refine gold, to paint the lily, to add another hue unto the rainbow, and with taper light to seek the beautious eye of heaven to garnish.” Yet as the human mind is so constituted that it does not rest contented unless its conceptions find expression in some form or other, I say a few words as the outpourings of my mind on the subject. -
