இயைந்து சிறந்து செம்மை நலமுற்று ஓங்கி இருந்தனவென்றும், இந்தநிலை - ஒரு காலத்தில் இந்தியா முழுவதும் பரவியிருந்த பண்பாடும் பிறவும் சிறந்தநிலை - காலப் போக்கில் மெள்ள மெள்ள வந்த மற்றவர்களுக்கு இடம் விட்டு, தெற்கே ஒரு புறத்தில் இன்று அமைந்துவிட்டது என்றும் கொள்வது பொருந்தும். எனவே, இந்தியநாட்டு வடக்கும் தெற்கும் மட்டுமின்றி, மேற்கே எகிப்து, மத்திய தரைக்கடல் நாடு வரையில் இன்றைய தென்னாட்டுப் பண்பாடும் நாகரிகமும் பிற நல்லியல்புகளும் பரவி நிறைந்திருந்தனவென்றும், இந்த உண்மையை இன்றைய நல்ல வரலாற்று ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்கள் ஆராய்ந்து உணர்த்திக் கொண்டே இருப்பதும், அதுவழியே உலகு உண்மையை உணர்ந்து தெளிவதும் வரலாற்றுச் செம்மைக்கு வழி காட்டியென்றும் அறிதல் வேண்டும்.
இனி, இறுதியாக ஜான் மார்ஷல் அவர்கள் தம் நூலின் இறுதியில் சிந்துவெளி நாகரிகத்தைப் பற்றியும், அதன் வழி அவர் தெளிந்த உண்மையைப்பற்றியும் கூறியதை அவர் வாக்கிலேயே நானும் காட்டி அமைகின்றேன்[1]. அவர் வழி சிந்து வெளி நாகரிக ஆராய்ச்சி மேலும் வளர்ந்து உலகுக்கு நலம் பயப்பதாக!
